SENIOR BARBECUE

—Monday June 9, 2008. Students board the bus by 9:45am in the Piedmont Hills' student parking lot. Buses will transport students to the location of the barbecue and return students to school no later than 2:30 pm. The location will not be revealed, until the day of the barbecue. Students may not drive their own vehicle— No Exceptions!!

— Field Trip Forms: Field trip forms have been distributed to Econ/Gov. teachers. Extra forms will be available in F-18, the front office and the bank, beginning Wednesday, May 14th. Please fill out both sides completely. Turning in a completed form is the only way students will be allowed on the bus. Students do not need teacher signatures, since students are not expected on campus.

— Wristbands: Since the barbecue is at a public park, seniors will be given a yellow wristband, as they get on the bus. The wristband is the meal ticket.

— Vegetarians: For those that prefer a veggie burger, even if you are not vegetarian, email Ms. Moneymaker at moneymakers@esuhsd.org, or place a note in her mailbox no later than Wednesday, May 21st.

—Students who are found under the influence of drugs an/or alcohol at the Senior Ball or the Senior BBQ will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony on June 13th.

GRADUATION CEREMONY

—Each graduating senior will receive 7 tickets to distribute to family and friends. There will be a minimal number of additional tickets available after the actual number of graduates is determined on June 10, 2008.

—Ticket Distribution will be on Tuesday June 10th from 2:30 to 4:30pm, and Wednesday June 11th from 1:00 to 3:00pm, both at the school bank. Seniors must have an ID in order to pick up tickets. All additional tickets will be sold for $5 each at the same time.

— Please note that we cannot guarantee fulfilling the request for all additional tickets, but will ensure that the process is fair and equitable to all families.

— Mandatory graduation practice at San Jose State Event Center 10:00-12:00am the morning of, Friday June 13th

— Doors open at 5:00pm for guests at the Event Center

— Ceremony begins at 6:00pm

Thursday, May 22nd, 7pm in the Theatre.

Senior Finals:
Wed - Friday, June 4th, 5th, 6th.

Graduation Ceremony:
Friday, June 13th at 6pm at the
San Jose State Event Center.

Graduation pactice is mandatory. Practice is from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Cap and Gown Orders:
Call Jostens at (408) 374-4447 to order your cap, gown, announcements, class rings, etc.
